The digital home of Vellur
Vellur is a farming village where the day still begins with the temple bell and ends with neighbours talking at the street corner. My Vellur brings all of that into one place — what is happening, who needs a hand, and who is ready to give one.
About Vellur
Paddy fields, coconut groves and tiled roofs; a temple that sets the calendar and a banyan tree that serves as the noticeboard. Vellur has changed the way every village changes — the road, the bus, the school, the phone — without changing how people live together.
This website gathers the village's history, its places, its people and everything happening today into one address that is easy to remember and easy to use.
